What does a Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach do?
I use a wide range of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and other lifestyle factors such as sleep & relaxation, exercise & movement, stress and relationships. My goal is to understand how these may contribute to your individual symptoms and health concerns. This approach allows me to work with you as an individual to help support your body and mind towards maintaining health.
As a personal nutrition & lifestyle coach I consider you to be unique and develop personalised nutrition and lifestyle programmes rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach. I will also frequently work alongside a medical professional and will communicate with other healthcare professionals involved in your care to explain any nutritional therapy programme that has been provided.

Nutrition and lifestyle support is extremely versatile. I have worked with clients to sharpen their focus, balance their energy, achieve glowing and smooth skin, balance blood sugar, regain emotional and mental wellbeing and have reliable digestion. Some people also simply want to check that they are on the right track with regard to healthy eating. Others may want to stabilise weight or get help with their symptoms.
Nutrition and lifestyle approaches to healthcare have been shown to support the health of all the major systems of the body (skeletal, muscular, nervous, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, excretory, endocrine, immune, reproductive and integumentary [skin, hair, nails]).
What happens in a Consultation?
Before our first consultation, I will provide a comprehensive health and nutrition questionnaire for you to complete. Our initial consultation will last 90 minutes where we go through areas such as:
current health concerns
diagnosis and treatment
levels of physical activity
use of medication and supplements
I evaluate your individual needs and use the extensive evidence base for nutritional science to develop a personalised, safe and effective nutrition and lifestyle programme. We will decide any recommendations together to make sure they work for your personal circumstances. The goal is to establish healthy long term habits and behaviours.
In your follow up consultations we will monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments.
