Developing Overcome Overwhelm (OO) - out of many "Oh-ohs" - has literally transformed my life.

 

I’ve experienced first-hand what it feels like to juggle many things - my career, studies, business, relationships, motherhood, hobbies, and self-care. In fact, I’ve been doing it for many years now and tried, failed, and adapted many attempts to balance it all.

 

More than anything else, I want to share my personal lessons as well as my professional nutrition and lifestyle knowledge with you inside OO.

What's Inside Overcome Overwhelm?

Module 01 (Week 1): HABIT HARMONY

 

In this module, we’re going to crush that daily grind by looking at the WHY and HOW of your daily habits. You'll discover how you’re really spending your time and whether that aligns with your goals and values. Disclaimer: this may cause serious soul-searching. On a lighter note, in this first week, you'll learn basic healthy eating principles that serve as a foundation for planning your meals with easy meal prep tricks.

How it's all going to come together:

We kick off with the next cohort on 5th July 2021. To protect your time and focus, you’ll be given access to one module per week so that you have plenty of time to dive into the lessons and implement the new healthy habits before moving onto the next module. 

The programme is hosted on Practice Better which you can access on the mobile app or computer, whenever, wherever. Each module contains 5 video lessons, each max. 15 minutes long with short practical exercises. So, all you need to invest is 20 minutes per weekday for the 4 weeks of this programme. But of course, you can take as much time as you want as you'll keep lifetime access.

Besides the module lessons and resources, you will also receive weekly live group coaching sessions inside a private, members-only Facebook group so that you can move forward with total clarity and confidence and connect with other like-minded people who “get” the difficulties of balancing it all.

What if I’m super busy and feel overwhelmed with the idea of this programme?


In short, the busier you are, the more you need Overcome Overwhelm. The very first thing we look at in module 1 is how you're spending your time and how you can optimise your day to make space for healthy meals, movement and rest. To consume all of the content you need around 20 minutes per weekday. There will be action points in every lesson but they're all designed to help you save time and be less stressed. The content will be released as one new module per week to avoid overwhelm and to allow you to consume it in your way - whether that's as one lesson a day or bingeing it all in one go. There is no “being behind” in this programme (you have lifetime access), but if you ever do get stuck I am here to support you.




Do I need existing cooking skills to pull this off?


Home-cooking your meals is one of many elements of this course that is completely optional. If cooking stresses you out or you've never even boiled a kettle before, than give the cooking bit a miss - you'll still get huge benefits out of learning the foundations of healthy eating so you can make educated decisions on what sort of meals to buy/ order. If you decide to give the recipes a go, rest assured that they are all easy, quick and flexible. You can always replace ingredients depending on your taste. I have personally chosen these recipes because they require basic cooking skills, wherever possible only one pot (no one loves doing dishes!) and seasonal, affordable ingredients.




Are the recipes inside the programme compatible with my specific dietary needs or preferences?


ABSOLUTELY! All OO recipes are gluten and dairy free and can be made using plant-based protein (to be vegan) or animal protein.

Meal timings are mere recommendations - you take them or leave them if the don't feel right or you're doing Intermittent Fasting for example.

The recipes are based on the principal of blood sugar balance, so there will be no calorie counting here. The goal is to keep you fuller for longer and, more than anything else, to bring delicious meals and the joy of eating into your busy day.




How do I track my progress with this programme?


You decide what progress looks like for yourself. We will complete a health & energy questionnaire at the beginning and end of the course so that you can put some numbers behind your achievements (who doesn't love numbers!). Within your training portal you can also easily track which lessons and modules you've completed. But along the way, if you lose motivation, I and your fellow course members will be by your side to hold you accountable.




Is this programme really relevant for me personally?


If you've read this far, I'm guessing you're currently wearing many hats or battling a never ending to-do list and would like to make your day-to-day healthier and more productive, right? This programme is not a prescriptive list of things you have to do to achieve that goal, but will give you suggestions to elevate certain daily habits that work for your personal circumstances. If you apply only one thing from each module to your day-to-day, I promise you that your mental and physical wellbeing will move forward.
